Abstract /摘要：

PurposeWhilethetheory and practiceofopeninnovationnetworksare flourishing,greeninnovationinmanufacturingsmall and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is stagnant. This study exploresthemechanismdrivinggreeninnovationinmanufacturingSMEsunderopeninnovationnetworksbased ontheroleofinnovationplatforms'relationalgovernance.Design/methodology/approachA quantitative study was conducted using questionnairestocollect data from 270manufacturingSMEsin Zhejiang Province and employing a structural equation modeltotestthedeveloped hypotheses.FindingsThe results revealed thatinnovationplatforms'relationalgovernancepositively affectsgreeninnovationinmanufacturingSMEs. Furthermore,thecollaborativeinnovationatmosphere and risk perception mediate this relationship through a respective mediatingroleand a chain-mediatingrole.Originality/valueThis study isthefirsttoempirically investigatethemechanismoftheinfluenceofinnovationplatforms'relationalgovernanceongreeninnovationinmanufacturingSMEs, provide a new perspective for understandingtheantecedentsofgreeninnovationunderopeninnovationnetworks, and expandthetheoretical research onopeninnovationmanagement.
